Subaru Loves to Care Brings Comfort and Hope to Patients at Scripps Cancer Center - Alexis M.
In the last few years, Dalton Subaru National City has partnered with Blood Cancer United and Scripps Cancer Center through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. The partnership has included delivering blankets, 10 patient care kits, and Messages of Hope to cancer patients. The items were delivered to the oncology staff at the hospital on June 23, 2026, by Dalton Subaru National City for distribution to patients in treatment. This year, Dalton Subaru National City has also opted to support the Blood Cancer United Urgent Need Program, Pediatric, which will provide five blood cancer patients with financial relief to help offset non-medical costs associated with treatment, such as transportation, food, housing, utilities, and other essential expenses.

We are so appreciative of our community partners at Dalton Subaru National City and Blood Cancer United for helping us bring a ray of sunshine to our cancer patients. On June 23, 2026, we received a generous donation of 80 blankets and 10 care kits that will be shared with patients visiting our cancer care centers. Whether it's through the warmth of a blanket or the comfort of a care kit, these donations are a reminder for our patients that they are not alone in their journey. Thanks to the generosity of Dalton Subaru customers, this year's donation will help support the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at Rady Children's Heart Institute. This vital program provides resources designed to help young patients recover and grow stronger following cardiac surgery and other heart conditions. Focused on building strength, endurance, and resilience, the program aims to improve each child's overall health and quality of life as they transition into adulthood and beyond. Through comprehensive, specialized care, Rady Children's is creating brighter, healthier futures for these patients. The generosity shown through the Subaru Share the Love Event means so much to all of us at GiGi's Playhouse San Diego. Dalton Subaru's incredible $17,000 donation will directly support the free educational, therapeutic, career development, and social programs we provide for individuals with Down syndrome and their families every single day. We recently had the privilege of partnering with the amazing San Diego Subies community for a beach cleanup at Fiesta Island — a day filled with teamwork, purpose, and love for the place we call home. At Dalton Subaru, the Subaru Love Promise is more than words — it's a commitment to caring for our community and protecting the environment for future generations. From every piece of trash collected to every helping hand offered, this event was a reminder that small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact. From Shelter to Forever Home - Ashley M.
Every October, Dalton Subaru celebrates Subaru Loves Pets Month by supporting Chula Vista Animal Services and covering adoption fees. By removing one of the biggest barriers to adoption, Subaru helps countless pets meet their perfect match. One of those success stories was Dexter, a big-hearted pit bull who had been with the shelter since last December. Despite his sweet nature, his size and breed often made him easy to overlook. During the shelter’s promotion for the final Open House adoption event, Dexter was featured several times in his Halloween costume and quickly became a community favorite. With Dalton Subaru’s support, Dexter’s wait finally ended when he found his perfect match. Throughout October, 217 pets found their adoptive families, including 24 during the Open House event. Through initiatives like this, Dalton Subaru continues to show that love is at the heart of everything they do. Their partnership helps turn hopeful shelter stays into happy endings, one tail wag, one purr, and one forever family at a time. For that, we proudly call them true shelter heroes.
Scripps Mercy Hospital - Dalton Subaru National City - Tasha M.
In the last few years, Dalton Subaru National City has partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista Well-Being Center through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. The partnership has involved delivering blankets, 50 patient care kits, and messages of hope to cancer patients. The items were delivered to the Oncology staff at the hospital on June 24th, 2025, by Dalton Subaru National City for distribution to patients in treatment. This year, Dalton Subaru National City has also opted to support the LLS Urgent Need Program, Pediatric which will provide 15 blood cancer patients financial relief to help offset non-medical costs associated with treatment, such as transportation, food, housing, utilities, etc.

On behalf of every teacher, staff member, and student at Olivewood Elementary, I'm writing to express our deepest gratitude for your incredible generosity and unwavering commitment to education in our National City community.
